CollabPress v1.2 is Live with Full BuddyPress Support!

I’m very excited to announce the long awaited release of CollabPress v1.2! This new version has some major updates including:

BuddyPress Group Support – Add projects, task lists, tasks, and comments to any group in your BuddyPress network. Group members are automatically integrated into task assignments making it super easy to start integrating projects into your groups! This feature does require BuddyPress v1.5+
Assign specific users to each project – This version gives you more control over project access. Easily assign users to a project that only they have access to.
Task item priority- Task items now have a priority setting. This was a highly requested feature that will certain be expanded upon in future releases.
Misc bug fixes and code cleanup.

You can download CollabPress in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory, or if you are already running CollabPress simply upgrade in your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

I want to give a HUGE shout-out to Boone Gorges for his work on integrating CollabPress into BuddyPress! As always please report bugs.

CollabPress v1.1.2 Has Been Released

CollabPress v1.1.2 has been released and is available for download. This minor update includes various bug fixes including:

Fixed bug showing help menu to all users
Exclude custom post type content from search
Fixed bug to only show recent five projects
Created a dedicated project page to view all projects
Added translation file for internationalization support

To update CollabPress to the latest version visit our downloads section or update directly from your WordPress dashboard.

CollabPress v1.1 is Available for Download!

CollabPress v1.1 has been released and is available for download! This new version of CollabPress, the project and task management plugin for WordPress, introduces some amazing new features including:

Front-end shortcode support using [collabpress]
Set user level to view shortcode front-end
File uploads on projects, task lists, tasks, and comments
New CollabPress overview widget
New setting to clear the activity log
Limit number of users displayed
New view all users page
Various bug fixes

As you can see this version is packed with new features! Be sure to keep an eye on the CollabPress Roadmap for information on what to expect in the next version. As always please report bugs and issues in our support forum.

Front-end Shortcode Support Teaser

CollabPress v1.1 will feature front-end shortcode support! This will give you the ability to bring all of the features and functionality of CollabPress to the public side of your website. This new feature also has a permission setting allowing you to control what minimum user role, if any, is needed to view CollabPress.

CollabPress Roadmap Released

The CollabPress public roadmap is up! We are building the best task management plugin for WordPress, so we want the future of this plugin to be public and community driven.

We’re excited to announce CollabPress v1.0 final has been released and is available for download! CollabPress has been 100% rebuilt to use custom post types, add new features, and tighten security. This new version also provides a solid framework for us to build amazing new features at a much faster pace!

As always please provide bug reports, comments, and feedback in our support forum.

IMPORTANT: CollabPress v1.0 does NOT support legacy CollabPress data at this time. If you are running a previous version, your data will not be lost, but it will not be displayed or used in the new version.

CollabPress, the task management plugin for WordPress, has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to utilize custom post types and taxonomies in WordPress.
